Day centre
Our day centre is where older people can meet new friends and do activities they enjoy with help and support from dedicated volunteers.
The day-centre offers help, support on a range of issues and activities to promote the independence, health and well-being of ethnic minority older people.
Our day-centre reaches out to the lonely and vulnerable people who live in the area.
We provide older people over sixty with a range of direct services and the support they need to live independently, to overcome isolation, loneliness, and the difficulties they may be experiencing in their daily lives, and to stay active in their communities.
The Group offers a number of activities for members and users including:
- Luncheon Club
- Welfare and Housing Benefit
- Religious Events
- Sewing Classes
- Computer Classes
- Day trips and holidays.ol
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Pension Credit
