Our work for disadvantaged women

Our youth club enables young people to develop holistically, it facilitates their personal, social and educational development and it enables them to reach their full potential.

We inform and encourage young black people to have an awareness of their rights, voice and their responsibilities to the wider community. Our work provides support in building the individual and collective capacities of young people through promoting their skills, self worth, creativity and enterprise. It encourages decision-making by providing information, enabling informed choices and personal development opportunities.

We provide young people at risk with training, mentorships and life skills and help them develop into well rounded adults

At Community Relief Project we provide a platform for young people to address a range of issues relevant to them, including violence and crime, mental health, mentorship, substance misuse, education, careers, volunteering, etc. We create opportunities for young people to express themselves, set their goals and work towards achieving them.

We achieve our objectives working with young people by:

  • Building young people’s self-esteem and self-confidence. Developing young people’s ability to manage personal and social relationships.
  •  Creating learning opportunities for young people to develop new skills.
  • Encouraging positive group atmospheres and promoting respect, teamwork, and fair play.
  • Building the capacity of young people to consider risk, make reasoned decisions and take control.
